Study in India Scholarships

• The Study In India (SII) Scholarship program is a flagship project introduced by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
• The Study in India program seeks to endorse India as a prime education hub for international students by inviting them to pursue their higher education in India.

Indian Council For Cultural Relations Scholarship

• Indian Council for Cultural Relations administers various scholarship programs annually and awards about 3000+ scholarships under 21 different schemes to foreign students from about 180 countries. 
• Amongst these 21 schemes, six are funded by ICCR from its grant and others are administered on behalf of MEA and Ministry of Ayush. 
• The courses offered for studies are for Under-graduation, Post-graduation and Ph.D. levels. 
• Each academic year, ICCR has about 6000+ of its foreign scholars who are studying at various Central/State Universities, Institutes, NITs, and Agricultural Institutions etc.

COMPEX Scholarship

• Around 3000 scholarships/seats are provided every year by Government of India through the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, to Nepali nationals for undergoing various courses at the level of Ph.D/Masters, Bachelors for study in India 

AICTE-MITACS GLOBALINK RESEARCH INTERNSHIP (GRI) SCHEME

• Scheme to foster cross-border partnerships focussed on creating a platform that opens the path for collaborative research between Canada and India to a wider pool of student talent in India.

Dr. Elizabeth Verghese Founder Chancellor Scholarship

This scholarship has been instituted to empower and provide encouragement to girls. Girls with academic potential to pursue higher education and who are from lower income families who are interested in pursuing higher education at HITS are eligible for this scholarship.

Dr. K.C.G. Verghese Merit Cum Means Scholarship

In fond memory of our Founder & Chairman Dr. K. C. G. Verghese and for the yeomen services he had rendered to the Society, a Public Charitable Foundation has been created in his name.

Merit Scholarship

• The top scorers in plus two from any School, Boards, Subjects, Centum Scorers, Class Toppers at HITS, Batch Toppers, and UG Rank Holders and Proficiency Prize holders are awarded scholarship to pursue their higher studies at HITS.
• Scholarships are also awarded to meritorious students with high scores who are financially challenged to meet their educational needs at HITS.

Hindustan Loyalty Scholarship

This Scholarship is available for the Alumni of the Hindustan Group of Institutions. Allocation of Scholarship is subject to norms and the scrutiny of the Scholarship Committee. It is open for:
Children of Alumni.
Immediate family members (Sister/Brother) of Alumni.
Alumni for Higher Studies
Children of the Staff of HGI.

Covid Martyrs Scholarship 

Under this new Scheme, wards of Covid Martyrs, who have lost their lives protecting our countrymen during the Covid Pandemic will be given complete Tuition Fee waiver in the discipline of their choice, having met the basic laid down norms, such as marks in qualifying exams etc. 
All expenses of the student including traveling, boarding and lodging will be taken care of by HITS in addition to a Monthly stipend during the period of the course.

Covid Frontline Warrior Scholarship

This new scheme is exclusively introduced for the wards of Doctors, Healthcare professionals, Government and Service personnel who have participated in protecting our countrymen during the Covid Pandemic. 
The scholarship covers a period of two years across all courses to those who meet the basic laid down norms such as marks in qualifying exams etc

Hindustan Teaching Research Fellowships

To promote research and attract Full-time Research Scholars, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science has instituted Hindustan Teaching Research Fellowships (HTRF) for eligible candidates. 
The fellowships are available for Full-time Research Scholars registered for:
Ph.D.
 

FundYourFellow Scholarships

• This scholarship is provided by the HITSAA alumni network. 
• Graduates of HITS are generously funding scholarships for deserving candidates who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need. 5 Scholarships worth of INR 10 Lakhs every year.

KEB Hana Bank Scholarships

• Providing scholarship of 10,000 USD to HITS students
• SchoFo will nominate students based on the academic merits and subsequent regulation

AICTE – SWANATH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

• AICTE has approved 'AICTE – SWANATH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME' for children from any one of the following categories:
• Orphan
• Either or both parents died due to Covid-19
• Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)

To provide them financial support of Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study. 

PRAGATI SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship/Contingency is awarded to meritorious girls taking admission in AICTE approved Technical institution at Degree/ Diploma. Total 10,000 scholarships are given @ Rs 50000 as incidentals each year.

SAKSHAM SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship/Contingency is awarded to Differently abled students taking admission in AICTE approved Technical institution at Degree/ Diploma. Scholarship given @ Rs 50000 as incidentals each year.

PRIME MINISTER’S SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME – PMSSS

Objective of the Scheme is to build up capacities in youth of J&K, educate, enable and empowering them to compete in normal course, enhancing and boosting employment potentials in students of J&K. Total 5000 scholarships are given @ Rs. 1,00,000/- as Maintenance Charges and academic fee as Rs. 30,000/- to General Degree, Rs. 1,25,000/- to Engineering Degree & Rs. 3,00,000/- to Medical Degree each year.

PG SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship is awarded to full time GATE/GPAT qualified students admitted to M.E./ M. Tech/ M. Arch and M.Pharma courses in AICTE approved Institutions/Colleges @Rs. 12,400/- PM/ student.

AICTE DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP (ADF)

Admitting full time meritorious research scholars by providing research fellowship who wants to seek admission to Ph.D. in AICTE approved Technical Institutes/University Departments for carrying out research in thrust areas
