Regular-Degree Bound Students
Hindustan University will give primary consideration to students who have passed the Plus Two with commendable marks. The University will strictly follow the criteria adopted in this matter by the AICTE. Admissions will be made on all India basis through a common entrance test conducted by the University or by an agency/institution approved by the UGC. Whenever such joint entrance examination is not conducted, Hindustan University will conduct its own examination and admit students.
 
When to Apply

Students, who have the qualifying marks can apply to any one of the undergraduate programmes they fit in, should send in their applications before 31 May. This does not apply to those who apply for pre-professional programmes.

 
Admission Test and Interviews

The students should take up the admission test and it will be administered at the Head Quarters of the University, the date of the test will be intimated to the students. The test will comprise English Proficiency, General Knowledge, simple mathematical problems and Aptitude test.
In order to make the best possible decision for an individual student, an Admissions Officer at the Head Quarters of the University may require a personal interview to clarify or explain� the application material and procedures.

 
Special Admission Programmes
The University recognizes the need for providing educational opportunities for people of widely varying ages and backgrounds. Therefore, special admission programmes are available for potentially successful students from disadvantaged, culturally deprived, or economically impoverished segments of society. Admission to Hindustan University is non-discriminatory.
 
Re-admission
Students who make an initial enrollment at Hindustan University but do not return the following semester/term will have one year's admission status in which to re-enroll, providing they left in good standing and have not enrolled in another institution since leaving Hindustan University. Such students may reactivate their admission status by completing a readmission form.
